In the original Greek the elder’s words read much stronger than they do in our translation. Literally, it reads, ‘TRIUMPHED has the Lion of the tribe of Judah.’ TRIUMPHED! All the emphasis is on that. There has been a battle. And one—the Lion of the tribe of Judah—has been victorious in the battle and shown that he is worthy and able and powerful enough to undo these seals and unroll this scroll. ‘Triumphed has the Lion of the tribe of Judah!’ There is no object to the sentence; it does not tell
